The Trilogy Project

The Trilogy ProjectThe Trilogy Project trains present and emerging leaders to work within the church community discipling people, planting churches and reaching the nations. Combining group discussions with individual assignments, mentoring and practical responsibility, The Trilogy Project is a challenging and thorough training program. The Trilogy Project is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (www.ACSI.org). To date, two cycles of the Trilogy Project have been completed. More than sixty participants have completed the course many of whom are now leading churches and church plants.

Trilogy is now available online, which offers the same curriculum in a web-based format using streaming audio, video discussion boards and a strong mentoring component. This new online format offers an increased opportunity to schedule participation around work, family and other responsibilities and still receive the benefit of participating in Trilogy. There is also the option of taking less than the full-time four classes per year (two per semester) to accommodate those who, for whatever reason, are uncertain about commitment of a full-time pace. This additional scheduling flexibility and online access from anywhere in the world makes Trilogy accessible to a wider range of students.

Curriculum

The three core courses are:
Year One – The Life and Ministry of Jesus
Year Two – The Life and Ministry of Paul
Year Three – Jesus and the Kingdom of God

Other areas of study include The History of Missions, The Historical Development of Biblical Doctrine, Old and New Testament Surveys, Methods of Biblical Study and Biblical Models of Leadership.

Individual reading and writing assignments complement the teaching during these classes and are evaluated by the instructors. Satisfactory completion of assignments is a course requirement.

Mentoring is a pivotal component of The Trilogy Project and will take place in the local church. Each trainee will interact with a mentor to develop character, life and ministry skills. In the context of the local church, training will be integrated with practical responsibility, which may include discipling others, leading small groups and much more.
