The gospel must be at the heart of all we do. It's not just the goal, it is the motivator and the reason. Many church leaders unknowingly lead and motivate out of a sense of guilt or legalism even though goal is salvation. In this talk, Jeff unpacks the realities of living and leading through the gospel.

God asked Isaiah what kind of a house could be built for Him. As church leaders, we must ask ourselves this question. Are we building based on culture or pragmatism or are we working to build a church that mimics the example set forth in the New Testament?

God has us all in a process called sanctification. He is using everything in this world to mold us, shape us, and transform us into the image of His Son. The challenge we face is this: do we actually do what we believe? Or do we have certain doctrines in our lives that have no effect on how we live?

Judges 2:10 says, "...And there arose another generation after them who did not know the LORD or the work that he had done for Israel." We live in a time in the United States where we are moving further and further away from Jesus and the mission He has called us to. One of those reasons, is that we hold the Scriptures loosely. This message attempts to point out the reasons why we are at risk of letting go of God's word and to encourage this generation to stand out and stand up as light in the midst of darkness.
